The new XTRM 2 is improved in every way over the original, giving you extra grip, stability and durability for the toughest terrains and conditions. Still made for demanding middle-distance runs in extreme conditions, it features a reshaped last and a slightly rounder toebox, giving your toes more room to move. A responsive CMEVA midsole combined with a rock plate adds protection and torsional rigidity without sacrificing agility. A new racing tongue is secured on both sides to prevent shifting, while the new lighter Fitlock system locks the foot at the arch for a secure, customized fit. The softer heel cap reduces pressure on the Achilles, and a special traction fabric inside the heel prevents slipping during movement.
The upper is made from Swiss Schoeller Keprotec®—an ultra-durable, abrasion-resistant material that doesn’t absorb moisture, keeping the shoe light even in wet conditions. It’s also bluesign®-certified, ensuring sustainable and responsible production. The updated outsole pattern delivers unbeatable grip in all conditions. The Superior Contact rubber compound excels on wet and hard surfaces, while aggressive 6mm lugs provide traction on softer terrain. Extreme conditions call for the XTRM 2. We recommend ordering a 1/2 size up for the best fit.

1 Place a sheet of paper on the floor and against a wall
2 Make sure that you are wearing the same socks as you would typically wear with these kinds of shoes
3 Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall
4 Then ask your friend to draw a line just in front of the longest point of your foot. Repeat with both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size
5 Use a ruler and measure the distance between the wall and the line that you drew to find your Foot Length
6 Select your shoe size according to the chart below
The sizes in the table are racing fit, with just a couple millimeters of free space in the toebox. If you prefer more space, go for the bigger size. If you have questions or need help with sizing please contact us at info@vjshoes.ca, we are happy to help.
Well built shoe, but are not true to US standard shoe sizes (1 size smaller) and more narrow than other brands.

XTRM 2 review
Love the XTRM 2. First pair of VJ's, but fit like a glove right out of the box. Purposefully ran my first run on a trail with large amounts of wet rock to test the grip and it was 10/10.

Awesome shoes
Fantastic grip (of course, the best on the planet), amazing feeling of the ground, confidence in any directions on any terrain - up and down, forward and backward, right and left. In my last races I overtook dozens of runners while running downhill on steep slopes

XTRM 2
I've been racing in the XTRM 2 for two years. They are super grippy on obstacles and fast down the trails with great responsiveness. I've experimented with other brands and other VJ styles..... For me the XTRM 2 have been superior!!!
