This supercritical foam is lighter, more responsive, more comfortable, and more propulsive than traditional EVA, while also being more durable and resistant to tearing. For added protection and efficiency, the midsole is paired with a rock plate that shields feet from sharp edges and protruding branches, increases torsional rigidity, and boosts energy transfer.

The Superior Contact outsole features 17 carbon steel, star-shaped studs that provide superior grip in slippery conditions. The water-resistant upper is light, breathable and durable one-piece upper. A light, breathable, and durable one-piece water-resistant upper works with the foot-shaped last to maximize comfort and performance.
